Open House!

One year later, we finally had settled in to our first place! Of course, we wanted to have an open house so all could come and see our new place. How we wish that many of you, our dear friends and family members could have come from the States to see our new home. But seeing how you just couldn't make it, (perhaps it was a little too far to drive?? ;)) we thought we'd do a little blog post so you could feel like you were here!
We thoroughly enjoyed hosting many of our team families, as well as one of our Peruvian families on our special night!
Pictured below are the Alvites family. We have loved getting to know this sweet Peruvian family. They have been a huge blessing to us. They've taught us many things about the culture here, and even showed us around town. If we need anything, they usually have an answer and are more than ready to help!

Having both English and Spanish speaking people, we laughed and joked all night in 2 languages! It was a blast! The couch game was perfect to play, because it really doesn't matter in which language you play it! We also enjoyed round robin around the ping pong table, and ended the night off with Mofia! Having an open house was a blast! I'm thinking we should do it more often... I'll just have to think of a new excuse for our next party :)
