Roller Skates to Pearly Gates

Wednesday evening, Larry came into church with his step sister. As soon as I saw him I recognized him. He was one of the boys that used to go to Skate World all the time. About 5 years ago, I worked there, and befriended a number of kids whose parents would randomly drop them off at Skate World nearly every weekend. When I saw Larry, I told Daniel about his situation. I asked him(Daniel) if he could share Jesus with him. After our service, Daniel walked up to him and shared the gospel with him. Daniel told Larry about Jesus and His precious love for Larry, even though he was a sinner. He told Larry about his need for a Savior. That evening Larry chose to accept Christ as His Savior.
The very next day, Larry's Dad died. Through difficult circumstances, Daniel was able to be there for him that same day. Daniel also got to take Larry out that next Saturday and talk about his new life as a Christian. I love seeing how God is willing to use us! Larry also spoke about getting his brother to come to church! Praise God for what He is doing in this family!

Praise the Lord! At a pivotal moment in this boy's life, God brought the right person to talk with him about what matters for eternity. Thanks for sharing!
