Two Reasons

Shortly after we had moved into our new apartment, I was cleaning my home like any normal housewife would. All of a sudden, I heard my neighbor from downstairs yelling something that resembled my name. (I don't think she quite knew how to pronounce it then!) I quickly ran to the front of my apartment, opened the door, and walked downstairs. Just then, I noticed that my neighbor had a younger lady with her. My neighbor quickly told me that her name was Vanessa, and told me that I needed to tell her about the Gospel, because Vanessa needed God in her life. I was shocked! How many times do you get asked to tell someone the best thing on earth? Not often! So, I ran back inside, grabbed a tract, and ran down the stairs again to explain to Vanessa how she could get saved. That morning, Vanessa started her journey in the Christian life! To this day, I am still amazed at how God brought Vanessa right to us!
Vanessa has become quite faithful to church. Not long ago, both she and her son Nicolas were baptized. I know God has a plan for Nicolas' life. He has so much potential! Please pray for both Vanessa and Nicolas, that God would continue to be real in their lives. They just finished our 10 week Bible study course in our home. We're very excited about what God's done and will continue to do!

To an ordinary person, Vanessa and Nicolas might be two people, or two more faces... but for me- they are two reasons why I love Peru. They are another two reasons to keep reaching the world for Christ; that ALL may know Him!
